Gary

A crew chief for iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate. He watches your telemetry and tells you the things you’d otherwise be reading off an overlay — lap times and where you found or lost them, fuel, gaps, flags, incidents, and the whole pit sequence from the limiter to “go, go, go”.

What Gary does

He’s a crew chief and a spotter on your radio. The idea is that you can turn off most of your overlays: anything you’d glance at one for, Gary either tells you when it matters or you can just ask him. Hold push-to-talk and say “what’s my delta”, “how’s my fuel”, “gap to the car behind” - he’s forgiving about how you phrase it.

Without being asked, he calls your lap times and where you found or lost time, fuel, gaps, flags, penalties, traffic from other classes, and the whole pit sequence - and he can set your fuel for you at every stop. Each sim gets its own extras too: shared pit and fuel data, the two-compound rule and oval tyre allowances in iRacing; stop-and-go vs drive-through, track limit points and the Hypercar battery in LMU.
